In 2024, we expanded our global presence by adding New Zealand and Egypt as new delivery centers, strengthening our ability to provide innovative, high-quality solutions to clients worldwide. After winning the GitLab Services Partner of the Year Award for EMEA in 2023, we achieved the same honor for APAC in 2024.
In 2023, Adfinis expanded its European presence by establishing a new entity in Germany. That same year, we were honored with two major recognitions: the HashiCorp “Focus Partner of the Year” award for EMEA and the GitLab “Services Partner of the Year” award for EMEA - underscoring our leadership in open source and cloud-native solutions across the region.
In 2022, Michael Moser was appointed Chief Growth Officer (CGO), bringing fresh momentum to Adfinis's strategic expansion. Gil Oliveira also joined at this time as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), while Michael Hofer took on the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). These appointments further strengthened the executive leadership team.
Adfinis is now partnering with ownCloud and Snyk, reinforcing our dedication to secure, open collaboration across the software lifecycle. We’re also proud to be Switzerland’s first GitLab Select Partner, underscoring our deep expertise and leadership in DevOps and open source innovation.
Rebranding: Adfinis SyGroup is now simply Adfinis! A unified name that reflects our global vision and streamlined identity. Another major milestone: the launch of Adfinis Australia and our expansion into the Netherlands enabling our follow-the-sun service model and strengthening our presence in the Benelux region.
2019 marked a milestone year for Adfinis: we were honored with the “Best Partner of the Year” awards from both SUSE and Red Hat, recognizing our deep expertise and dedication to open source. At the same time, we achieved Microsoft Gold Partner status - perfectly timed with the launch of the Swiss Microsoft Azure data centers.
We became Switzerland’s first HashiCorp partner, reinforcing our leadership in infrastructure as code and cloud automation. Additionally, we entered into a partnership with SoftwareONE, expanding our reach and joint capabilities in delivering open source and cloud-native solutions.
Adfinis SyGroup was honored with the SUSE Innovation Award, recognizing our forward-thinking contributions to the open source ecosystem. In the same period, we also began a partnership with Nextcloud, strengthening our commitment to secure, self-hosted collaboration solutions.
The year Adfinis was founded marked the beginning of our journey - driven by a deep passion for open source solutions and a strong belief in vendor-independent technologies that empower users and foster innovation.
